UFO History: December 17, 1977

Today was another day full of contradictory statements on the drone situation that is taking place in multiple cities within the United States. While I still have no clue what is real or false, I am more and more recognizing the PsyOp aspects of what is taking place. Something is definitely going on somewhere, what this is, we will have to find out.

For our journey into UFO history, I made my way to the NICAP (National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena) website and found an interesting location.

I say location because this sighting in Kenyon, Rhode Island, on December 17, 1977 has multiple reports and witnesses that were investigated, and interestingly enough, have similar descriptions.

In the first one, a witness reported a blue-white oval hovering in the sky, with visible windows. While no distance from the object was reported or specifics of size/shape other than an oval were mentioned, the witness claimed that they suffered from eye irritation. This report originally was covered in the July 1978 APRO Bulletin.

The second report was also in the July 1978 APRO Bulletin. In this case a witness reported that around 1600, a huge domed blueish-white glowing disc dropped silently toward the ground over a meadow and stopped at an estimated 400 feet above the ground. It had a small dome on the top of the object and three square windows. When the disc turned to a vertical position the cars in the vicinity stalled. One witness reported suffering skin burns and rashes as a result of the intense light, and eye irritations after the encounter.

The separate sightings objectively are describing the same craft with a blue-white hue. The fact that multiple witnesses suffered physical ailments after the encounter is also interesting. Of course, 1977 is the year that Close Encounters of the Third Kind was released and the skin irritation was a prominent part of that classic film. There is no medical report or word of verification by the investigators in this report.

All in all, this was another intriguing encounter and a blue–white oval could be considered an orb, which would make it relevant for what is taking place today. If you have any insight or want to report a sighting, feel free to contact us and help us with our Disclosure Project.
