Former Skinwalker Ranch Owner Robert Bigelow Talks Disclosure

In a newly released interview, Las Vegas billionaire and longtime UFO researcher Robert Bigelow described a February 2026 meeting in the Oval Office where he urged President Donald Trump to deliver a carefully worded public confirmation of non-human intelligence on Earth. 

Bigelow, founder of Bigelow Aerospace and a major funder of paranormal and UAP investigations for more than four decades, said he presented seven briefing reports to the president. One focused specifically on ETs, UAPs, and disclosure. A presidential aide cleared the Resolute Desk so Bigelow could lay out the documents. Time was limited, roughly 11 minutes per topic, so he zeroed in on preparation and a minimalist public statement. 

During this meeting with the president, Bigelow says he told Trump exactly what he should say: “A non-human intelligent presence has been on Earth for a very long time using spacecraft and with performances completely beyond our capabilities and our human physics. And that’s it.”

He recommended Trump pause at the door of Air Force One, face the media, and deliver only that single sentence and nothing more. No elaboration, no questions answered in the moment. Bigelow framed the line as both disclosure and official confirmation rolled into one. He noted that no U.S. president has ever made such a direct public affirmation. 

In the interview with veteran investigative journalist and UFO researcher George Knapp, Bigelow emphasized that presidents typically learn only what they actively push for. Gatekeepers who hold the most sensitive information and hardware, he said, often take it to their graves. 

A central part of Bigelow’s proposal was preemptive amnesty or pardons for private aerospace contractors who, in his account, have helped the government conceal materials and craft of unknown origin for roughly 80 years. He claimed direct knowledge of which companies have stashed and analyzed such materials, arguing their expertise would be essential for any orderly public education process. 

If he were in the president’s position, Bigelow said he would also acknowledge that there have been crashes, recovered bodies, and reverse-engineering programs. “The rest of the world already knows that. The people that count in Russia and China already know,” he stated. 

Bigelow declined to recount Trump’s specific responses, gestures, or reactions during the meeting. He left the reports on the desk after the president instructed staff not to remove them.

The meeting occurred roughly five months before the interview became public. In the intervening period, the Trump administration directed the release of additional UAP-related files and videos as part of a transparency push. Bigelow has described those releases as limited compared with the fuller confirmation he advocated. 

Bigelow has long maintained that non-human intelligence has interacted with humanity and that the phenomenon involves technology far beyond current human physics. His past work includes funding the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP) through a contract with the Defense Intelligence Agency and extensive private investigations.

Whether the Oval Office conversation influenced subsequent policy remains unconfirmed by the White House. Trump has previously authorized document releases on the topic while remaining publicly noncommittal about the ultimate nature of the phenomena. Other figures in the administration, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have previously expressed interest in greater transparency.
