Who knew, the Times Square stabbing would lead back to Frank Olson?

A few weeks ago, I touched on the mysterious death of Frank Olson, who died after being dosed with LSD at Deep Creek Lake, and how there was a connection to the CIA and potentially MK-Ultra. And honestly, I thought that would be the last time I dealt with the subject for some time. That was until I started to do a deep dive on the recent stabbing and subsequent shooting in Times Square. 

If you aren’t familiar with what took place, here is a quick synopsis:

On Monday afternoon, August 31, 2026, around 4:30 p.m., Pamela Cisneros, 49, of Queens, pulled two kitchen knives from a red Target bag and stabbed two people, Tak Kam and Erin Piacenti, in Times Square in about 20 seconds. While the police called the attacks random, something felt off to some. Both victims were transported to Bellevue Hospital, where Piacenti succumbed to the injuries. 

The really interesting aspects came next, when Cisneros was confronted by the police. Although surrounded by the NYPD, she refused to drop the knives and reportedly stated she would rather kill them than drop them. And even after being tased multiple times, she continued to move toward the offices before being shot. 

That’s where things became a bit suspicious, not only because of the way Cisneros acted and the way the tasers had zero effect on her, but because word came out that Piacenti was a vice president of Bank of America. When more details came out about Cisneros, the police revealed she had multiple mental-health incidents that were documented by the department. And once again, that would point back to Bellevue. 

Coincidence? I don’t believe in coincidence. 

While there have been no declassified documents connecting Bellevue to the CIA or MK-Ultra, there is a connection that does raise some flags: Frank Olson. 

That’s right, the same scientist that we covered, who had a strange death following the CIA-connected incident at Deep Creek Lake, was taken to the Bellevue morgue to be identified by CIA officer Robert Lashbrook. Closing one of the agency’s most famous medical security incidents. 

Couple that with Bellevue’s long history of intelligence operations dating back to World War I, when a German intelligence operative faked paralysis and spent roughly two years in Bellevue’s prison ward to dodge extradition. 

As well as its Presidential/UN designation as the standby hospital for visiting presidents, foreign dignitaries, injured city officers, and UN diplomats. The CIA has long run medical-intelligence collection on foreign leaders. 

While this only points to intelligence operations, is it truly outside the realm of possibility that these same doctors and nurses on the dole to provide intel would not be working side by side with the Agency to conduct covert experiments? 

The way Cisneros reacted after being tased looked more like someone unhinged or on some type of illicit substance, not someone who just had some type of mental break. And then she was killed, shot by two officers, silencing the only person who could give any type of understanding of the incident. 

Of course, this could all be a coincidence, but it’s amazing how quickly things can be connected to the CIA and their dark history
